Nadja's Labyrinthine, recorded during the pandemic and concurrently with their Southern Lord album Luminous Rot, was released on CD by the band's own label, Broken Spine, in 2022 and on vinyl in 2024 with Wolves and Vibrancy Records. Labyrinthine explores themes of identity and loss, monstrosity and regret, extreme aesceticism, the differences between labyrinthes and mazes, taking inspiration from Haruki Murakami's Killing Commendatore, Ursula K. LeGuin's The Tombs of Atuan, and Victor Pelevin's reinterpretation of the story of the minotaur and Ariadne, The Helmet of Horror. While this might be Nadja's heaviest, doomiest album to date, it is unique in the band's extensive catalogue as each track features a guest vocalist:
Alan Dubin – legendary American vocalist from O.L.D., Khanate, and Gnaw
Rachel Davies – vocalist and bassist from the British band, Esben & The Witch
Lane Shi Otayanii – a Chinese multi-media artist and vocalist
Dylan Walker – American vocalist from grindcore/noise band Full of Hell
"The album begins with its title track, whose nasty, sulphurous drones bent into a sludge riff that resembles Iggy And The Stooges played at quarter speed, 100 feet tall and covered in molasses." Leah Kardo - The Wire

Product Safety / Manufacturer Information:
Vinyl Orders - Please note that we do our best to protect vinyl records ideally for shipping, using our custom made mailers and additional cardboard squares. However, we can not guarantee that no damage on the way occurs. Ordering is at one's own risk. Vinyl might be delivered unsealed as we have to open copies to check vinyl colours, if not sufficiently labeled by the distributor / label.

These mock ups are digital representations of what we expect the final product to look like - however they do not represent the final product. Final vinyl pressings, prints, etc. may look slightly different.
